How to Create, Manage, and Organise Additive Recipes in Cannavigia

The Recipes section in Cannavigia (Cultivation>Recipes) allows you to create and manage specific combinations of fertilizers and pesticides. By using recipes, you can simplify the documentation process for mixtures, making it easier to track and apply consistent additive combinations.

Recipes Overview

Tabs and Their Functions

To access Recipes, go to Cultivation>Recipes:

  1. Recipes: Provides an overview of all recipes currently in your inventory and displays information such as the recipe nam, notes and actions to perform
  2. Archive: View and manage recipes that have been archived, and allows you to restore  archived recipes
  3. Note: Add and view notes related to specific recipes; Useful for documenting specific instructions, observations, or changes related to a recipe
  4. Log: Track the activity log related to recipe entries; You can see a record of all actions performed on recipes, including creation, edits, and deletions

Create Recipes

To create a new recipe in the Cannavigia system, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Cultivation>Recipes

  2. Click on the green + Recipe button

  3. Fill in Recipe Details:

    • Name: Enter a name for the recipe (e.g., "Vegetative Phase Recipe,"  "Flowering Phase Recipe", "Recipe for Week 2")
    • Enter the required Amount of water
    • Specification Method: Select whether the components of your recipe will be specified in concentrations (ml/l, %, mol/l) or absolute amounts (liters, milliliters, microliters)
  4. Add Individual Additives:

    • Select Additive: Choose the additive from the drop-down list
    • Specify Quantity and Unit: Enter the quantity and select the unit for the additive
    • Add Additive: Click the Add button to include the additive with the specified amount and unit in the recipe
    • Remove Additive: If needed, click Remove to delete the additive from the recipe
  5. Optional Notes: You can add a Note about the recipe, such as the measured pH and EC values after the components have been blended

  6. Click the green Save button to create the recipe and return to the Recipe page

Edit Recipes

To modify an existing recipe in the Cannavigia system, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Cultivation>Recipes

  2. Locate the recipe you want to edit and click on the green Edit button next to the recipe

  3. The Edit Recipe window will open, displaying the fields you initially entered when creating the recipe. Update any necessary information or add additional details as required

  4. Click the green Save button to apply your changes and return to the Recipe Overview page

Add Notes To Recipes

To add a note to a recipe in the Cannavigia system:

  1. Go to Cultivation>Recipes

  2. Click on the green Add note button next to the relevant recipe

  3. Enter your note or comment about the recipe

  4. Click Save to create the note and return to the Recipe Overview page

  5. They will be visible in the Notes tab

To archive and restore notes, follow these steps:
  1. To archive an active note, just click the green Archive button beside the relevant entry
  2. A confirmation window will pop up, click Archive to confirm the action
  3. The status of the note will change from Active to Archive
  4. To restore an archived a note, click on the Restore button beside the relevant entry
  5. The status of the note will change from Archive to Active

Archive And Restore Recipes

Archive a Recipe

  1. Access to Cultivation>Recipes

  2. Click on the grey Archive button next to the recipe you want to archive

  3. Confirm the action by clicking OK

Restore a Recipe

  1. Go to the Archive tab on the Recipes page

  2. Click on the Restore button next to the recipe you want to restore
