At the same time, QR codes are automatically created for each plant, making it easy to track them in the cultivation area. ### Generate Plant Tags 1. Tags are generated for all untagged plants in the batch and the system has now assigned a plant ID to each plant 5. The number in the *Plants *field changes from black to green ![](https://support.cannavigia.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Feb-19-2025-05-56-32-2489-PM.png?width=688&height=93&name=image-png-Feb-19-2025-05-56-32-2489-PM.png) If the **Generate plant tags** button has not been clicked, the number in the *Plants* field remains black. This means the plants do not yet have a plant ID and are not individually identifiable in the plan. ![](https://info.cannavigia.com/__theme/images/common/info-macro-icon--39985156a8a940b9a79d.svg)**Note:** The button will **NOT** be available  1. When no plants are in the batch 2. If the batch is already tagged 3. If plants from the plant batch have already been packaged  4.
