Harvest Batch: Log Waste

Efficiently Manage Waste during the Processing or Drying Stages of an Harvest

Proper waste management during the processing or drying phases of a harvest is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and adhering to regulatory standards.

Waste Log Harvest Batch

Ensure accurate record-keeping and streamline your waste management processes by following this steps:

1. Go to the Cultivation module and click on Harvest to open the Harvest Inventory View

2. Select the harvest batch by clicking on the Harvest Batch ID where the processing task is ongoing or the batch for which you want to record waste

3. Click the Actions button on the harvest inventory or on the harvest batch detail view, and select the Log Waste icon

   

4. Record Waste for Harvest Batch Form

   A form titled Record Waste for Harvest Batch - ID will appear. Fill in the required information as follows:

   • Weight (Mandatory): Enter the total weight of the waste to be logged and select units

   • Waste Type: Choose the appropriate type of waste generated (e.g., leaves, stems, etc.)

   • Waste Container (Mandatory): Select the container where the waste will be stored or disposed of

   • Harvest Processing Task (Mandatory): Choose the associated processing task related to the waste being recorded

   • Date (Mandatory): Specify the date when the waste was recorded

   • Reason (Optional): Add any relevant reason or explanation for the waste generated

   • Task (Optional): Select the task related to the waste recording

   • Task Checklist (If Applicable): Complete the checklist related to the task, if provided

5. Save the Waste Log: After filling in all mandatory and optional fields, review the entries. Click Save to log the waste against the selected harvest batch
