Test Management - Create & Manage Tests

Define the tests performed on your products and their compliance standards

While the testing method describes the "how," the Test is the specific entity you assign to items so that target values or specifications can be recorded

Tests are, as the name describes, the tests that you perform on your products. Tests can then be selected for items and target values (specifications) can be entered for the items.

Note: Before you can create a test, you need to create the corresponding Sample collection SOP and Testing method

Creating Tests

To create a test, go to Quality > Test management.

  • Click on the green button + Create Test.

  • The Create test window opens.

When creating tests, you must record the following information:

    • Yes/No: If the result can be evaluated as Yes/No.

    • Text input: A free text is required as result. Evaluation must be assessed manually by the releasing person.

    • Acceptable/Not Acceptable: If the result can be evaluated with Acceptable/Not Acceptable.

    • >Greater than: Allows a value to be entered, all values greater than this will be judged as acceptable. (e.g.: CBD content > 15%).

    • <Less than: Allows a value to be entered, all values lower than this will be evaluated as acceptable. (e.g.: THC content < 1%).

  • Unit: If the result can have a measurement unit, it will be defined here. If no unit is available, AU (Arbitrary Unit) can be selected.

Optionally, you can also enter additional information about the test:

  • Sample amount: Defines the amount needed to run the test.

  • Unit: If the sample amount can have a measurement unit, it will be defined here. If no unit is available, AU (Arbitrary Unit) can be selected.

  • Sample collection: Select a sample collection method from the drop-down list.

  • Testing Method: Select the appropriate testing method to be used from the drop-down list.

  • Description: Allows you to describe the test for better understanding. Feel free to add more details about the test.

When you have finished entering the details of your test, click Save to create your test.
