This release brings major improvements to timezone handling, activity logging and our IoT data platform, alongside a wide range of smaller enhancements and fixes across Cultivation, Manufacturing, and Inventory. 

 

Updates and New Features

User Timezone Support

Cannavigia now lets each user set their own timezone from their profile settings. If a timezone hasn't been set yet, a prompt appears on login asking users to configure one. Once set, timestamps across Cultivation, Manufacturing and Inventory are displayed in the user's local time instead of a single fixed timezone. The Cultivation Report and PMBR now follow the same rule, so printed reports always reflect time the way the user expects to see it.  


Human-Readable Logs

Logs across Cannavigia have been overhauled to show clear, readable messages instead of raw technical data. Entries that previously displayed user ID numbers now show the person's name, and actions that weren't being logged before, such as changes to Article Categories, are now captured. Every log entry across the platform has been reviewed to make sure it always displays a meaningful message. 


IoT Data Platform Upgrade

We migrated our IoT sensor data infrastructure to a faster, more reliable database. As part of this migration, we resolved a number of data quality issues affecting IoT dashboards and reports, including inaccurate batch summaries, unrealistically high temperature readings, and readings incorrectly showing as zero. Airwits sensor graphs now correctly render a full week of data instead of only showing readings day by day.


Article Batch Expiry Notifications

Never miss an expiring batch again. Administrators can now enable automatic expiry notifications for selected article types, with configurable thresholds — 90 days before expiry, 30 days before, and on the expiry date itself. Notifications link directly to the affected batch and are delivered to users who have Article Batch Updates enabled in their notification settings. 
 


PMBR (Plant Material Batch Report) Support for Individual Packaging

The PMBR report now fully supports batches packaged into individual packages. Reports for these batches include a new Packages section showing the total number of packages, combined net and gross weight, and a detailed breakdown per package. Making it easy to trace and verify packaged inventory.


Cultivation Report Traceability

The Cultivation Report now includes a dedicated Plant Traceability page, giving a complete picture of where a batch's plants came from and what happened to them. Origin, destroyed, harvested, transferred, packaged, and propagated quantities, each linked to the relevant batch. 

 


Scan to Add Batches in Goods Out

Adding batches to a Goods Out is now faster than ever. Simply scan an article batch's QR code and it's automatically selected. No need to search the drop-down. If a scanned batch isn't released yet, you'll get a clear warning instead. 


General

  • The Harvest Overview now includes a Weight filter (All / Hide Empty / Only Dry / Only Wet) to quickly narrow down batches.

  • The additives table on the plant batch detail view now includes a sortable Category column.

  • The global and article batch transaction logs now show a Reason column for manual stock adjustments.

  • The global transaction log now includes a Source column.

  • The 10x10cm IMCA package label now includes the harvest date.

  • The amount field when finishing a production now accepts up to 3 decimals (whole numbers only for units in Pcs).

  • The task drop-down for recording waste on a plant batch now only shows relevant task categories.

  • Article batches linked to a planned production can no longer be archived independently; archiving or restoring a production now also archives or restores its linked article batch.

  • The additive application dialog was reworked: the "subtract from inventory" toggle now locks with a tooltip when the selected additive has no released stock.


Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the Harvest Batch Last Activity field displayed no entries.

  • Fixed an issue where packaging and goods out values were rounded incorrectly when a weight was entered in grams for an article defined in kilograms.

  • Fixed an issue where opening certain older harvest batches returned a server error.

  • Fixed an issue where the manufacture dashboard displayed a production's status as undefined instead of planned.

  • Fixed an issue where the manufacture dashboard status percentages summed to more than 100%.

  • Fixed an issue where the PMBR report displayed an impossible maximum temperature value.

  • Fixed an issue where the batch ID could not be edited from the Goods In dialog on a completed delivery.

  • Fixed an issue where small residual quantities remained in article batches after being fully booked out.

  • Fixed an issue where the Equipment > Cleaning task list kept loading more content while scrolling.

  • Fixed an issue where liquid article batches (e.g. vapes, oils) could not be fully booked out.

  • Fixed a missing translations on the multi-phase switch.

  • Fixed an issue where creating a new article after archiving a previous one caused a duplicate article number error.

  • Fixed an issue where a long SOP file name broke the page layout in Testing Methods.

  • Fixed an issue where stock quantities in "Pcs" were displayed too high on the Additives page.

  • Fixed an issue where small residual additive amounts remained after use.

  • Fixed an issue where the checklist did not display when adding plants from an article batch to a plant batch, blocking the action.

  • Fixed an issue where Goods Out did not recognize the full available stock in small volume units (e.g. mL).

  • Fixed an issue where the delivery note displayed tare weight in the wrong unit.
