Streamlined Areas and Equipment Cleanings with Cannavigia
Properly cleaning a room and equipment is essential in cannabis cultivation to ensure compliance with GxP guidelines, reduce downtime, and maintain consistent quality. Cannavigia allows users to document cleaning activities directly within the platform, making it easier to stay compliant, organized, and audit-ready.

Cleaning Interval
Set the cleaning interval for your areas/subareas and equipment:
- When creating a new area/subarea or editing an existing one, go to the Cleaning interval section
- When creating a new equipment or editing an existing one, go to the Cleaning interval tab

Enter a start date for the cleaning of the area/subarea/equipment, additional fields will appear to help clarify the cleaning schedule based on your selected interval
- Click on the green Save button
After setting the cleaning interval for all your areas/subareas/equipment, you can go to Facility>Dashboard to check the Cleaning Status:
- In this list, you can see warnings on the planned cleaning actions according to the settings created
- From here, you can easily click on the areas/subareas/equipment name to be redirected to the Detailed View
Record Cleanings

Go to Facility > Dashboard > Cleaning Status box

Check the status of your areas/subareas/equipment and click on the name to be redirected to the Detailed View

Or, you can go to Facility>Areas/Facility>Equipment, locate the desired one and open it to access the Detailed View
- For Areas, click on the green Actions button next to the name on the list or on the right upper corner in the Detailed View
- Next, click on the Record cleaning action

For equipment, Click on the green Perform Cleaning button in the Detailed View

Add the mandatory information: Task (e.g. Cleaning Cultivation Area) and Date

Additionally, you can record: Incurred expenses (if any) and the Currency, Description of the cleaning action, Upload receipt and picture
- Add a Cleaning Agent and subtract from an article batch in inventory

Click the green Save button to log your cleaning

In the area/subarea/equipment Detailed View calendar, you can see the cleaning interval and when a cleaning action took place through a blue line, that you can hover it to see the timestamp:

You can also navigate to the Cleaning actions tab, see all the actions and archive them on the grey button:

To restore them, still on the Cleaning tab, locate the desired action with the Archive status and click on the grey Restore button:

Reports
With Cannavigia you can easily create reports for your areas/equipment with all the cleanings activities (for equipment also maintenance tasks and reported defects). To generate this type of report, follow these steps:
- Go to Quality>Reports
- Click on the green + Create report button
- The Create a report window will open:

For the Type, choose Area Cleaning or Equipment

Enter a desired name for the report

Select a time range, with the Start Date and End Date

Select all the areas or equipment that you want to see in the report, you can select one, multiple or all

Click Submit to generate the report

- Your report will show up in the Reports tab, from there you can click on the name to be redirected to the print center, where your report will be listed
- In the Print Center you can download or print the report by clicking on the green Print button
Additionally, you can also export several tables to attach to the report:
- Navigate to the desired table, for example, Cleanings tab from one area/equipment
- Click on the grey CSV or Excel buttons to export the table in the desired format, and the download will start
