      Package your Harvest

      Package a Harvest Batch into an Article Batch and ensure that your products are ready for distribution

       

      Package your Harvest Batch into a Final Product

      If you haven’t created articles for your final products yet, navigate to the “Articles” section and set them up first under the “Final Product” category

       

      1. Access the Harvest Batch:

      Open the Cultivation module
      • Select 'Harvest' to access the Harvest Inventory
      • Locate the desired Harvest Batch by clicking on its row, or select the hyperlinked Harvest Batch to view its details

      2. Open the Actions Menu: In the Harvest Detail View, click on the Actions button

      • Select the Package Option:
        • From the Actions Modal, click on the Package button
        • The Package Form box will appear

      • Input Packaging Details:

        • Select Article: Choose an article from the dropdown
          • Package Harvest Batch Modal should contain the toggle 'Only show articles with matching strain' (only articles with the same strain or no strain set will appear)
        • Storage Area: Specify the area where the article batch will be stored
        • Expiration Date: Enter the expiration date for the article batch
        • Article Batch ID: Enter a unique batch ID for the article

      • Weigh the Harvest Batch (Package weigh):

        • Input Weight: Enter the weight of the harvest batch you want to package (with unit selection)
        • Select Equipment: Choose the equipment (scale) used for weighing
        • Click the Add button to add the weight entry
        • To remove a weight entry, click the Remove button

      • Select Packaging Materials: (Optional)

        • Select Article: Choose the article to package the harvest batch into
        • Select Article Batch ID: Choose the specific article batch ID to use
        • Input Amount: Specify the amount in the article’s base unit (e.g., Pcs)

      • Save the Packaging:

        • Once all details are filled in, click Create
        • A modal will appear confirming that the article batch has been successfully created

      • Return to Harvest Detail View:

        • Click the Back button to return to the Harvest Detail View
        • Click Open Article Batch to view the newly created article batch, Release the batch if needed

      Packaging a harvest batch will create a batch of an article. You can package the harvest batch into an article with any unit type. The actual batch size of the article and the used weight from the harvest batch are input separately.

      Important Notes

      • Only available when Dry Weight > 0kg or Wet weight > 0kg, if no available weight action is greyed out (not clickable)

      • Cannot add more of an article batch than what is in stock of that article batch (add packaging materials)

      • Packaged weight (weight used to create article batch) cannot be more than the available weight 

      • Cannot be packaged if drying in progress

      • Packaging material: Already added article batches cannot be added (no longer appear in list)
