Manufacturing Productions

Manage your Productions in the Manufacturing Process by documenting Materials, Equipment, Tasks, and Packaging used throughout each stage for Complete Tracking and Traceability

Productions represent the active manufacturing process and allow you to document everything required to track it. From used materials, equipment, and tasks to the packaging materials, everything can be documented in an easy and intuitive manner.

Production view

To open a production navigate to Manufacturing > Projects > Click on Project Name > Click on Production No.

 
The production view is structured into four sections:
  • Title Bar
  • Info Boxes

  • Progress Bar

  • Tables sorted in Tabs

Title Bar

In the title bar you can navigate back to the project, see the manufactured article, batch code and production number. On the right hand side you will have:

  • If the production has not yet started, you will only have the options to Print the QR Code or Edit the production details

  • If the production is already in progress, the available actions will depend on its current state

Info Boxes

Information boxes display relevant information on the production:

  • Supervisor: the designated supervisor of the production

  • Article Batch ID: the Batch ID of the manufactured article

  • Planned amount: displays the amount that was entered during creation or editing of the production

  • Manufactured amount: this information will only be displayed after the production has been finished; it is the actual batch size

  • Area: the location where the production is currently being conducted

  • Estimated Completion: if the starting date and estimated time to completion was entered during planning the resulting estimated completion is displayed here


Progress Bar

A Production has three states: Planned, In Progress and Finished. Depending on the state different actions are available.

This shows the current state the production is in with the planned, starting and finishing dates.

With the corresponding buttons, the state can be advanced.

  • Planned Production: If the production has not yet started, you will see the Planned bar colored with the planned dates, and you can initiate the production by clicking the green Start production button

  • In Progress Production: If the production is in progress, you will see the In Progress bar colored with the actual start date, and you can finish the production it by clicking the green Finish production button

Note: Active documentation can only take place when the production is in progress.

  • Finished Production: If the production is finished, you will see the Finished bar colored with the actual finish date.

Tables sorted in Tabs

For every action you can perform (green Actions button on the top right corner), detailed information can be found in the corresponding tabs:

  • Materials: List of materials used during the production (you can add or remove materials while in progress)

  • Equipment: List of equipment used during the production (you can add while in progress or remove and view the equipment both during and after production)

  • Tasks: List of tasks during the production (you can perform tasks while in progress or add notes in progress and after finishing)

  • Waste: List of waste produced during the production (you can log waste while in progress or remove waste in progress and after finishing)

  • Packaging: List of packaging material used during the production (you can add packaging material while in progress or remove in progress and after finishing)

  • Observations: List of observations recorded during the production (you can register an observation and  picture while in progress)

  • IoT/Sensor Data: Temperature, CO2 and humidity data recorded from devices assigned to the area of the production

  • Samples: List of samples collected during the production (you can collect samples while in progress and submit for lab testing, print QR Code or view the sample in progress and after finishing)

  • Documents: List of documents uploaded during the production (you can upload documents while in progress and view them in progress and after finishing)

  • By-products: List of by-products produced during the production of the main article (you can create by-product articles while in progress and edit them in progress and after finishing)

  • Area log: List of areas where the production took place and duration (you can see the time spent and edit the starting date in the area while in progress and after finishing)

  • Log: List of users interactions with the production (you can see every interaction  recorded with dates and users while in progress and after finishing)
