Manage Harvest Containers: Ensuring Compliance, Streamlining Operations, and Improving Monitoring and Accessibility
Harvest containers in Cannavigia are used to temporarily store individual harvests and provide an overview of current storage. You can view and manage these containers in the Harvest Containers tab on the Containers page (Facility > Containers).
In this article, you'll find this list of topics that you can click on to quickly access the information you need:
View Harvest Containers
For each harvest container, the following information is displayed:
- Name: The name of the container
- Area: The area where the container is located
- Content: The harvest batch stored in the container
- Content weight: The weight of your harvest content
- Tare weight: The tare weight of your container
Detailed View
Click on the name of the container to access the following tabs:

Detailed View: You can access comprehensive details about the container, including a calendar that displays all loading, unloading, and cleaning events

Cleanings: You can view all cleaning events and remove them by clicking the grey Remove button under Actions

History: You can view a list of all actions performed on the container, including dates and users

Area Log: You can view the areas your container has been in, the duration in each, and the responsible user for each move; it's also possible to edit move dates by clicking the green Edit button under the Actions

Log: This tab shows all the logged actions
Actions for Harvest Containers
In addition to the actions Generate QR code, Move, Add a note, Archive/Restore and Clean containers, you are also able to Load/Unload an harvest container.

Load Harvest Containers
To load an empty container with a harvest batch, follow these steps:
- Go to the Harvest Containers tab on the Containers page (Facility > Containers)
- Click on Action next to the selected container and click Load Container
- Choose the Harvest Batch ID you want to load into the container
- Enter the Weight, Unit, and Equipment Used for Weighing
- Click Load to add the harvest batch to the container
- After selecting the batch, you can load multiple weights by repeating the last two steps and remove any incorrect entries by clicking the grey X button next to each weight before saving
- Click Save to confirm the loading of the container
Unload Harvest Containers
To unload a container, follow these steps:
- Go to the Harvest Containers tab on the Containers page (Facility > Containers)
- Click on Action next to the selected container and click Unload Container (the button appears greyed out when the container is empty)

Confirm or cancel the unloading action

The container will now be empty if you confirm the action
