How to Correctly Harvest a Cultivation Batch in Cannavigia while Ensuring Full Traceability and Compliance
This article guides you through how to perform a Harvest in Cannavigia. These steps are important for ensuring that your harvest complies with traceability requirements and is properly recorded in the system.

Before Proceeding
Make sure the following are in place before performing a harvest:

Your Cultivation Batch is in the Harvest phase and has alive plants

All relevant cultivation activities are logged

Your plants are assigned to the correct Area and correctly tracked

The users performing the harvest have the correct permissions
Start the Harvest

Navigate to the Cultivation>Projects

Open the Cultivation Batch that you wish to harvest or simply click on the Actions button in line with the desired batch on the Active plant batches tab

Click on Harvest Plants (this option will be greyed out/blocked if your batch is not in the Harvest phase or if there are zero alive plants)

Fill in the following details:
- Harvest Batch ID: Will be generated automatically but you can change it in this step or later at any time
- Harvest Method (mandatory for GACP compliance): Manual or Mechanic

Date of harvest: Date of sowing the plants
- Harvest all plants: You can toggle to harvest all plants at one time or not and next step enter the amount os plants harvested

Select when you want to weigh the plant material: Choose one of two options, Weigh whole plants before any processing or Weigh processed plant parts before drying
- Confirm the fields and click Next
If you decided to harvest all the plants:

Amount of Plants will be blocked and shows the total of plants in the cultivation batch that were harvested

If you choose the option Weigh whole plants before any processing:

Harvest wet weight (kg) will show the total weight that you add to the table

Choose the Area the harvest took place

Enter the Wet Weight, choose the units, then select the weighing equipment and container if you wish, and click Add to table

All the weights added to the table will be shown in a list below, where you can remove and add again to correct it

If you choose the option Weigh processed plant parts before drying:

Choose the Area the harvest took place

Click Save to finish the Harvest action

If you decided to harvest some plants, but not the total:

Amount of Plants will be blocked and shows the total of plants that you select to harvest

If you choose the optionWeigh whole plants before any processing:
- Input the number of plants you wish to harvest; if your plants are organized into subareas, please specify the quantity for each individual subarea

Harvest wet weight (kg) will show the total weight that you add to the table

From Cultivation Batch to Harvest Batch
Once you have harvested your plants, you will be able to view the Harvest Batches that have been generated as a result of this action.

Open your Cultivation Batch from the plants harvested:
- Navigate to the Harvest tab
- Here you can see all the Harvest Batches created; the weight will be visible depending on the option you choose for the action: Weigh whole plants before any processing (shows weight here) or Weigh processed plant parts before drying (shows empty for the weight)
- From here, you can click on the Harvest Batch name to access it
- Navigate to the Traceability tab
- You can see where and how your Cultivation Batch plants were used, among Plant Batches, Cuttings/Clones, Destroyed and also Harvest Batches
- By clicking on the Harvest Batch name, you can easily access it
Harvest Batch
To view all your Harvest Batches, navigate to the Cultivation>Harvest. Here, you will find a comprehensive list of all active Harvest Batches:
