      How to Record Waste and Destroy Plants on a Plant Batch in the CV Scale App

      Accurate waste and destruction recording is essential for traceability, regulatory compliance, and operational transparency in cannabis cultivation. This article explains how to log plant waste and execute plant destruction within Cannavigia, using the CV Scale App for precise weight tracking. Whether you're discarding plant parts as waste or fully destroying tagged or untagged plants, the step-by-step instructions below will guide you through identifying the batch, recording the details, assigning containers, and finalizing the entries seamlessly.


      Record Waste on a Plant Batch

      1. Tap Start to begin the process

      2. Identify the batch by

        1. Selecting it from the drop-down

        2. Scanning the QR code of the batch

      3. Select the type of weight

        1. Waste

      4. Specify the task and reason for the waste of the plants

      5. Select the type of waste, multiple can be selected

        1. Leaf

        2. Stem

        3. Root

        4. Flower

        5. Trim

      6. Select or scan the QR code of the waste container the waste is put into

      7. Weigh the plants on the scale and click enter on the scale to send the data to the scale app

      8. Review the weight and if correct, click on Accept the weight

      9. Repeat steps 7-8 until all required weight is registered

      10. When finished, slide the slider on the bottom of the screen to submit the weight entry to cannavigia web


      Destroy Plants

      The Destroy Plants Flow helps users systematically document and execute the process of removing plants while ensuring compliance and traceability. Follow the steps below to complete the flow:

      1. Tap Start to begin the process

      2. Identify the batch by

        1. Selecting it from the drop-down

        2. Scanning the QR code of the batch

      3. Select the type of weight

        1. Destroyed plants

      4. Depending if the selected batch is tagged or untagged select the plants to destroy

        1. Untagged: Input the amount of plants destroyed per sub area

        2. Tagged: Scan the plant tags that are destroyed

      5. Specify the reason for the destructon of the plants

      6. Select or scan the QR code of the waste container the plants are put into

      7. Weigh the plants on the scale and click enter on the scale to send the data to the scale app

      8. Review the weight and if correct, click on Accept the weight

      9. Repeat steps 7-8 until all required weight is registered

      10. When finished, slide the slider on the bottom of the screen to submit the weight entry to cannavigia web
