Corrections on Harvest Wet Weights

Ensure Accurate Wet Weight Corrections in Harvest Batches

This article outlines the validated procedures for correcting Harvest Batch wet weights directly within the Cannavigia software. Whether the recorded weight needs to be decreased or increased, the step-by-step instructions below provide cultivation professionals with a compliant framework.
 

Following these steps ensures the Harvest Batch wet weight is accurately corrected and properly reflected in the originating Cultivation Batch.


When the total available wet  weight exceeds the expected value and needs to be reduced:

  • When opening the Cultivation Batch in Cultivation > Projects it is possible to see in the Harvest tab the corresponding Harvest Batch and the harvested weight


  • Open the harvest batch where you want to correct the weight, you can click on the batch name seen in the previous step, or go to Cultivation > Harvest and search for the desired batch
  • Once open, you can see that the Total Available Weight is the same as in the Weight Log tab in the Harvest Batch and in the Harvests tab in the Cultivation Batch


  • In the Harvest Batch, click Actions and select the Log Loss option





  • The Log Loss window will open, select Corrections on the Reason field

  • Enter the difference between the incorrect (total available) and correct weight (in this example the available weight was 35kg and the correct value is 34kg, the Lost weight in this field should be 1kg)
  • Finally click Save to record the correction


  • Observe that both in the Harvest Batch and in the Cultivation Batch, the wet  weight is updated


When the total available wet weight is below the expected value and needs to be increased:

  • In the Harvest Batch Click Actions and select the Weigh in Wet Weight option



  • The Weigh in Wet Weight window will open, enter the difference between the incorrect (total available) and correct weight (in this example the available weight was 34kg and the correct value is 39kg, the Wet Weight in this field should be 5kg) and click Add to table



  • After the weight has been added to the table, you can still remove it and enter a different value in case of any mistake, after that click Save to record the action


  • Observe that both in the Harvest Batch and in the Cultivation Batch, the wet  weight is updated
