Apply Additives to Plant Batches

Apply Additive to an Individual Plant Batch or Several Plant Batches at The Same Time

Additives, such as fertilisers, substrate and pest management, should be recorded at each cultivation stage to guarantee full traceability and compliance with GACP and GMP standards. Accurate additive documentation creates a verifiable audit trail, ensuring regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and transparency for audits and inspections.

Notes

Each Distribution equipment must be created in Facility>Equipment with the Intended Use Additive distribution. More information can be found in the artcile: Equipment


 

Apply Additives to a Plant Batch

  1. Open a Plant Batch (Cultivation Batch) and click on Actions to add an additive
  2. Click on Apply Additive

  3. Select the category and subcategory of the additive you will be adding, this will filter your choices of Additives in the drop-down menu
    1. When additive category = Fertilization then the fields pH, EC, distribution equipment, and amount of water are visible



    2. When additive category = Pots then the field distribution equipment and amount of water are visible

    3. When additive category = Substrate then the fields pH, EC, and distribution Equipment and amount of water are visible



    4. When additive category = Pest Management then the fields Infestation/pest/weed, Economic threshold, Weather situation, distribution equipment, and amount of water are visible

  4. Select 'Subtract from inventory' (toggle on) Input Applied amount* per article batch, unit select per applied amount


  5. Click on Save to log the application of the additive and return to the Batch Overview page

  • Each Additive must be individually added beforehand in Inventory > Articles before it can be selected from the drop-down menu. More information can be found here

Apply Additives to Multiple Plant Batches

If the same additive is added to several plant batches at the same time, you can record this application for all plant batches in the same project by following this process:

  1. Navigate to Cultivation > Projects, click on your project

  2. In the overview of batches, select the batches you would like to apply an additive to

    1. Select them by clicking on the row or by clicking the select all button next to the search bar

  3. Click on the Button +Additives on the top right



  4. The window to apply additives will open; input all the necessary information about the additive

  5. Click Save

Note: The amount will be distributed according to the number of alive plants per batch.

Apply Additives to All Plant Batches Inside one Area/Subarea

If the same additive is added to all plant batches at the same time inside one area or subarea, you can record this application by following this process:

  1. Navigate to Facility > Areas, click on the Actions button next to your area, or open the area and click on Actions

     



  2. Click on the Apply Additive button 

  3. The window to apply additives will open; input all the necessary information about the additive

  4. Click Save

Note: The amount will be distributed according to the number of alive plants per batch.

Edit and Remove Additive Entries

Edit Additive Entries

To edit any additive entry in a recipe that has already been applied, navigate to the Additives tab within the plant batch you wish to modify:

  • Click on the Edit button next to the entry you want to change


  • Make the necessary changes, including: Date of application, Applied amount, pH, EC, Distribution equipment, and Amount of Water
  • Providing a Reason for this edition is required
  • Once you have made your adjustments, simply click Save to apply the updates


Remove Additive Entries

To remove any additive entry in a recipe that has already been applied, navigate to the Additives tab within the plant batch you wish to modify:

  • Click on the red Remove button next to the entry you want to change


  • Providing a Reason for removing the additive
  • Click Save to remove the additive entry
